Pair attacked in Lowestoft takeaway

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a man and woman were attacked in a Lowestoft takeaway.

A 24-year-old woman was robbed of a blue denim purse as she suffered a scratch to her face and an injury to her ear when she was attacked by another woman in the takeaway in Lowestoft High Street between 12.

A 24-year-old woman was robbed of a blue denim purse as she suffered a scratch to her face and an injury to her ear when she was attacked by another woman in the takeaway in Lowestoft High Street between 12.30am and 1.20am on Sunday, August 30.

The attacker is described as white, in her early 20s, about 5ft 2ins tall, of thin build, with brown hair tied in a ponytail.

A man was also with the attacker, and he assaulted a 28-year-old man who was with the 24-year-old woman. The 28-year-old suffered swelling to his eye.

The man who attacked him is white, very tall - possibly over 6ft 6ins - and very thin, with short dark hair and also in his early 20s.

The two attackers were in a group of four (two men and two women) and the man they were with had a tanned complexion, some facial hair and dark hair that was spiky in the middle. He was of similar age, about 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build and wearing a red top with some white on it.
