CANNABIS plants with a street value of about £8,000 were grown at two houses in Lowestoft, a court heard.
The class C drugs were discovered at London Road South and Morton Road on November 28 last year. Christopher Savage and Michelle Blatchford pleaded guilty to two charges of producing cannabis at the addresses at Ipswich Crown Court.
For the pair, Ian James asked for reports to be prepared before they were sentenced.
Judge David Goodin said: “The production of cannabis remains a serious offence, whether class B or class C, and for your purposes it is class C. There was potentially a considerable value so the sentencing judge may decide there is no alternative than to send you into custody but all-option reports, including curfew and unpaid work, should be considered.”
Savage, 47, of London Road South, Lowestoft, and Blatchford, 36, of Ipswich Road, Lowestoft, were released from the court on bail until July 18 when they are due to be sentenced.
