A 19-year-old has been assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone in an incident in an alleyway that runs behind Stanley Street past The Hollies towards Norwich Road, in Lowestoft, yesterday.

He had been texting on his phone and looked up to see three men, described as white and in their mid teens to early 20s, in front of him. One of the men, who was wearing a white top then assaulted him, causing him to fall to the ground, and took the mobile phone.

The three youths were male, aged in their mid to late teens with two wearing white hooded tops and black bottoms and the other described as of skinny build with short dark curly hair, a beard and wearing a black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms, a black baseball cap and white trainers.
