A group of 30 excited tots and their parents decorated their meeting place and tucked into party food to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding.

The group of youngsters, all aged under three – who attend the Parents and Toddlers group at Pakefield Church hall each Monday – started preparing for the party two weeks ago.

Leader Katey Mills said: 'The toddlers had a great time making paper crowns and tiaras using crayons and glitter. They also created some unique bunting with their handprints to decorate the hall.

'Although they may not fully realise the significance of the celebrations they certainly entered into the spirit of the occasion and tucked into a buffet of party food provided by the mums, dads and grandparents.

'There was even a wedding cake to enjoy before balloons were released to complete a wonderful day. If Harry and Meghan's guests have as much fun as our group they will have had a wedding to remember.'
