On September 9, the committee entertained the members by showing a selection of pictures: decorated Norwich Elephants by Val Prettyman, wedding photographs by Bev Harrison, an audio visual by Rob Smith, the pictures of the airshow by Peter Eyles, and an audiovisual of Hoveton Gardens by Trevor Cox.
On September 9, the committee entertained the members by showing a selection of pictures: decorated Norwich Elephants by Val Prettyman, wedding photographs by Bev Harrison, an audio visual by Rob Smith, the pictures of the airshow by Peter Eyles, and an audiovisual of Hoveton Gardens by Trevor Cox. After coffee, prints from the Lake District by Colin Snowling, tulips of Amsterdam by Edwina Beaumont were seen and John Pitts showed members how to take infra red shots. The club exhibition is in Lowestoft Library until September 27 where trophy winning shots by Avery Bailey, June Howard and John Watson can be seen as well as other exciting images by club members. The pictures will be changed during the exhibition due to such a high number of entries.
The club next meets on September 23 at 7.30pm at Trinity Methodist Church Hall, Park Road, Lowestoft. This is an evening for beginners and improvers to try to answer questions about different aspects of photography. Anyone with an interest in photography is very welcome.
