This beautiful sunset shot which perfectly frames a man gazing over Carlton Marshes has been crowned The Journal’s Picture of the Week.

The picture was taken by Janice Tillett, from Lowestoft, who used a Panasonic Lumix TZ100 to capture the beautiful moment.

Mrs Tillett said: “The picture was taken over Carlton Marshes, I was waiting for the sun to go down and my husband was standing near the gate. I liked the look of the sunset so took the photo.

“I love all sunsets as the colours are so different and I love the gate and the silhouette in this picture.”

As our winner, Mrs Tillett receives a 10in x 8in framed version of his photo from Picture Studios, of London Road North, in Lowestoft town centre. Entries can be of any subject but they must be digital images.
