A ROMANTIC adventure has turned into a prize winning experience for one Lowestoft amateur photographer.
David Baldry, of May Road, took this image as he travelled across southern Thailand with his fiance Anni Jones.
They were searching for a location to get married in 2012, and snapped this long tail boat at their chosen location of Ko Phi Phi Don. Now the photograph has been named The Journal's Picture of the Week.
David will receive his photograph in a 12in x 10in frame, mounted and inscribed, worth more than 60, from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft. The winning picture will also go forward to our next six-monthly winners' final contest, when he will be in with a chance of claiming a 12in x 18in photo block worth 130.
