A blooming great photo of an array of poppies dominating the clifftop in Southwold has been crowned champion.

With the sea in the background, this stunning shot was captured by amateur photographer Jenny Bird, of Harrier Drive in Oulton Broad last summer.

And after winning the weekly Picture of the Week competition on June 19 last year, it has been crowned as the latest champion of champions of our six-monthly winning contest – earning Ms Bird a 12in x 18in photo canvas, worth £130, from our regular competition sponsor, Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft.

Matt Goddard, managing director of Picture Studios, is pictured presenting Ms Bird with her top prize.

With everyone who voted in our previous six-monthly competition having their names put into a prize draw, the winner of a Picture Studios sitting experience and a free 12x10-inch print was Mr and Mrs N G Warnes.
