Playful puppies are being given the chance to join Suffolk's award-winning team of police dogs.
Suffolk police are looking for a new recruit to join the team of general purpose police dogs who are looked after by ten police constables and a sergeant based around the county.
The puppy, most likely to be a German Shepherd aged between 10 months and two years old, must be eager to play, bright and healthy.
The dogs will be assessed and, if selected, will be trained and assigned to an officer who he or she will live and work with full-time.

A Suffolk police spokesman said: 'The chosen dog will be joining an award-winning team of officers - Suffolk dog handlers have finished in the top 20 at national police dog trials in each of the last seven years and regularly top regional trials - all with dogs that were donated from family homes or rescue centres.'
Anyone who knows of a suitable dog they would be prepared to donate should call Sgt Michael Hart on 01473 613723.
