Police appeal after knife and baseball bat wielding men damage building door

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men wielding a knife and a baseball bat damaged the door of a building in Lowestoft.
The incident, which happened at around 8.40pm yesterday on Raglan Street, is believed to be a targeted attack after the two men drove a Ford Focus at speed down the street towards a property.
The men are then believed to have shouted before a door was damaged by one of them, with the men then returning to the car and reversing away down the road.
Suffolk Police said one of the men was described as wearing a red or orange crash helmet with a black hooded or long sleeve top and either black tracksuit bottoms or jeans, and was believed to be in possession of a knife.
The other man is described as white with brown hair, wearing a beige T-shirt and jeans and was believed to be holding a baseball bat.
A spokesman for the police said: “Officers were called to Raglan Street, Lowestoft, at around 8.40pm yesterday, Monday, July 2, to reports of a disturbance and an incident of criminal damage.
“Police are appealing to anyone who has information relating to the incident, in particular anyone who may have any CCTV or dash-cam footage, to contact Suffolk police on 101 quoting crime reference 36681/18.
“Alternatively, call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
