Police appeal after lawnmowers are stolen from sheds in Somerleyton

Police are seeking information after at least five allotment sheds were broken into in Somerleyton.

Witnesses are being sought in connection with the break-ins, which happened overnight on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8. Four sheds were broken into at allotments in The Green and two strimmers, two lawnmowers and a cord to a solar light were stolen.

And between 4pm last Friday, March 6 and 6am on Sunday, March 8 a shed was also broken into at an allotment on The Street, with a strimmer and a lawnmower taken.

Information should be directed to PC David Stranks at Lowestoft police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
