Police appeal for man's next-of-kin

POLICE are seeking help in tracing the next-of-kin of a 61-year-old man who passed away at his home in Lowestoft High Street on Monday.

It's known Andrew Cairns had spent several years living rough in the town before moving into a flat in the High Street.

POLICE are seeking help in tracing the next-of-kin of a 61-year-old man who passed away at his home in Lowestoft High Street on Monday.

It's known Andrew Cairns had spent several years living rough in the town before moving into a flat in the High Street.

At this stage there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, but police do not have contact details for any next-of-kin and are appealing for anyone with information about any of Mr Cairns' family members to contact Coroners Officer Paul Webber on 01986 835237.

It is thought he may have a brother in the Edinburgh area.
