Police appeal for witnesses following burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary after jewellery and electrical items were believed to be stolen.

The incident, in Union Road, Lowestoft, happened between noon and 3.30am on Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 1.

A spokesman for the police said: “An unknown offender entered the property via an insecure gate and then climbed through an open ground floor window. It is believed that jewellery and electrical items were stolen.”

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed anybody suspicious or who has any information about this crime to contact Lowestoft CID on 101, quoting reference 36207/18, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
