Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a car fire in Lowestoft earlier this month.

Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a car fire in Lowestoft earlier this month.

Officers were called by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service at 1.50am on Saturday, September 8, to a report that a car was alight on a driveway in Durban Road.

The car on fire was a silver Vauxhall Corsa and the cause of the incident has not been determined.

Police have said, it is possible that the blaze was started deliberately, as a witness reported seeing someone running away from the scene at the time the fire service were called.
