Police hunt north Suffolk park attack suspect

A 20-year-old man suffered stab wounds in a park attack.

The victim walked in to Halesworth Police Station at midday last Wednesday to report the alleged stabbing, which happened in the town park.

He sustained a stab wound to the thigh, a slash wound to the chest and head injuries and officers called for an ambulance.

The victim, who lives close to where the attack took place, is recovering at home.

A police spokesman confirmed they are hunting a known suspect in relation to the stabbing and asked anyone with information to call 01986 835300.
