Police are investigating reports of an assault and a bicycle theft on Bascule Bridge.
The incident occurred at around midnight on Sunday, May 6, and saw a bike worth £1,000 stolen.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: 'Police are investigating reports of an assault and a bicycle theft on Bascule Bridge at around midnight on Sunday, May 6.
'The bicycle reported stolen was a grey Carrera worth around £1,000. Enquiries are ongoing.'
