A WARNING has been issued by police to drugs users in Lowestoft and north east Suffolk after receiving information that local heroin dealers may be mixing the drug with cleaning products.
'There is concern that the mixing of the drug with these cleaning materials could have a severe effect for anyone who takes them, hence the need to issue an alert,' a police spokesman said.
'It's thought when burnt the mixture would produce black crystals on the top.'
Work is continuing to catch and convict those suspected of supplying class A drugs and anyone with information about drug dealing should call Suffolk Police on 01986 835300.
