Police out in force in Lowestoft
POLICE officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) in Lowestoft will be out in force next Tuesday (April 3) to give advice to residents about steps they can take to reduce the chances of having their home burgled.
POLICE officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) in Lowestoft will be out in force next Tuesday (April 3) to give advice to residents about steps they can take to reduce the chances of having their home burgled.
The events are part of a national Burglary Action Day and will see local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers at a variety of locations around the town giving out 'A Guide To Home Security' booklets as well as further information and advice. The events will also give an opportunity for you to meet and talk to members of your local team.
Officers will be at the following locations: Rainbow store, Ashburnham Way, Carlton Colville (1pm-2.30pm); Tesco's, Beccles Road, Carlton Colville (3pm-4.30pm); Outside Bhs in London Road North, Lowestoft (12.30pm-2.30pm); Tesco store, Leisure Way, Gunton (3pm-4pm); Hollingsworth Road community hall, Lowestoft (1pm-3pm).
Anyone who would like information and advice is welcome to attend any of the venues.
