INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a burglary at a popular Lowestoft club.As reported in last week's Journal, Thieves stole more than �3500, a special sword, video camera, digital camera, and branded equipment after breaking in to the Bushido Martial Arts and Community Fitness Centre in Oulton Broad.
INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a burglary at a popular Lowestoft club.
As reported in last week's Journal, Thieves stole more than �3500, a special sword, video camera, digital camera, and branded equipment after breaking in to the Bushido Martial Arts and Community Fitness Centre in Oulton Broad.
The club, which caters for 115 club members and is described by its owner Lee Wall as a 'lifeline' for children aged six upwards, is open seven days a week offering various martial arts classes and fitness training.
But, with the loss of the cash, which had been raised by members through sponsorship, members paying up front for lessons and through sales of club merchandise, there are now fears for the club's future.
The break-in happened between 10pm on Friday, March 5 and 10am on Saturday, March 6.
'Inquiries remain ongoing and we would renew the appeal for anyone with information to come forward,' a police spokesman said.
