Police renew appeal for missing man
POLICE this afternoon renewed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of a 45-year-old man who was last seen on Tuesday.A search of waterways round Lake Lothing was launched on Wednesday after officers attended the Oulton Broad home of Paul Powell after concerns were raised for his safety.
POLICE this afternoon renewed their appeal for information on the whereabouts of a 45-year-old man who was last seen on Tuesday.
A search of waterways round Lake Lothing was launched on Wednesday after officers attended the Oulton Broad home of Paul Powell after concerns were raised for his safety.
Today Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue have been carrying out searches of both banks from Oulton Broad out to the sea and the lifeboat and coastguard have been assisting with searches along the coast north to Corton.
Further checks to trace Mr Powell are continuing but police would like to hear from him or anyone who may have seen him since 4pm on Tuesday.

Mr Powell is described as around 6ft tall, of medium to heavy build with short dark brown hair.
Anyone who may have seen him or has any information about where he is should call the duty sergeant at Lowestoft Police Station on 01986 835300.
