POLICE have sent out a warning, urging motorists not to leave valuables in their vehicles when leaving them unattended, after a handbag was stolen in Lowestoft.
A pink and blue striped cloth handbag with black handles, containing a multi-coloured purse, cash, cards and a digital camera, was stolen after quick-witted thieves broke into a red Ford parked in St Margarets Road between noon and 1pm on Tuesday (December 14).
Officers are asking anyone who may have been in the area between these times who may have seen the incident or someone with the bag to call Sgt 488 Wright on 01986 835300.
