It has been hailed as the "most successful" event yet.
The annual Blundeston open gardens showcase saw 10 gardens open to the public in the village over the weekend of July 8/9.
Organised by Blundeston in Bloom, the annual event proved a “huge success” as a bumper crowd of around 450 visitors turned out to take the trail around the village
Shirley Tuck, secretary of Blundeston in Bloom, said: “It was our most successful Open Gardens weekend in Blundeston – the best year so far!”
With some visitors travelling many miles to attend, there was a diverse choice of gardens to see – ranging from cottage gardens to some more formal ones and even an African bush scene complete with a tiger hidden in the undergrowth.
Other attractions along the route included refreshments at the village hall, a tombola and the extremely popular cream teas at Garden Cottage.
All money raised goes directly into purchasing new flowers and plants, maintaining the present containers and making new ones to enhance the look of the village.
Mrs Tuck added: “This has really been a superb effort from so many people in Blundeston and it is very rewarding to see so many villagers unite to put Blundeston on display.
“We have been lucky enough to have attracted several new members and volunteers to the village group and their efforts are obviously reaping rewards.”
