On a cold bright morning the prom looks very nice with two pedestrians and one cyclist but what happens in the summer months when you have hundreds of pedestrians on the promenade? How are you going to keep the cyclists to the cycle lanes and the pedestrians off the cycle lanes?

It is a sea front promenade; it should be left to pedestrians to enjoy.

As there is not so much traffic in Marine Parade now would this not be a better route with a speed restriction of 15mph for vehicles? This would make it safer for cyclists and leave the promenade clear.

As we all know we have a cycle restriction in the town centre from 10am to 4pm but this will still not stop some cyclists, so how are things going to run smooth on the promenade?
