Men are notoriously difficult to get to go and see a doctor or talk about their health, something which is especially true for sufferers of prostate cancer.

With this in mind, the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group, which covers Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the rest of the region, hold regular 'Meet and Chat' sessions in the Louise Hamilton Centre at the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston.

The next one will be on Saturday, April 21, from 11.45am to 1.15pm, with all prostate cancer patients, their partners and family members all invited to come along to the informal get together.

The meetings give those affected the chance to chat with others who are or who have been on the same cancer journey, allowing them to benefit from those experiences.

Free car parking and light refreshments will be provided, and for any other details you can call George or Jill Siely on 01692 650617.
