'The sessions are mostly after school on a Friday, which is our normal eco-schools time anyway. The children carried out a formal survey of the school in the last session to find out what areas we can improve on and what we are already doing well.'
The children's findings will be presented in assemblies to the whole school to try and involve them in the venture, as well as their Switch Off, Keep Cool week, where the team will try and reduce energy consumption by implementing the strategies they came up with during their lessons.
