Purse stolen from Lowestoft pensioner
CALLOUS thieves stole a purse, containing cash, cards and gift vouchers, from a pensioner's handbag during a church service in Lowestoft.The large red leather-effect purse was stolen from the handbag of a 71-year-old lady after it was left unattended inside the United Reform Church in London Road North on Sunday, August 30.

The large red leather-effect purse was stolen from the handbag of a 71-year-old lady after it was left unattended inside the United Reform Church in London Road North on Sunday, August 30.
The woman had left her bag on the floor close to her during a service and left it briefly unattended while she talked to friends after the service when the theft happened between 10.40am and 12.30pm.
When the woman returned to her bag she found it was open and her purse had gone.
