Put money to better use

I NOTED with some amusement the fuss being made over the bridge congestion and funding for improvements in Prospect Road, in Oulton.

It beggars belief that the issues we as residents and businesses in the High Street have had over many years with people ignoring the No Entry signs at the north end of the High Street.

It beggars belief that the issues we as residents and businesses in the High Street have had over many years with people ignoring the No Entry signs at the north end of the High Street.

We have asked the highways department at Suffolk County Council for something to completely stop entry into this end of the road and make it wholly one way, and no, it's not to make it more pleasant in the High Street, it is for the safety of people who cross the road or use the businesses here, it is to improve the congestion at the narrower part by making the road one way. It is for all those who live here and for importantly those who visit.

And while they are at it let's have some decent parking order.

Let's see this money put to better use and leave the congestion in Prospect Road to common sense. Simple really.
