A set of barriers at a railway crossing have finally reopened after an earlier fault led to heavy traffic.
The barriers at the Victoria Road crossing in Oulton Broad were stuck down this afternoon, causing significant delays across the town.
A tweet posted by travel information page, Suffolk Norfolk Travel, had said: 'Gates are stuck in closed position again. Expected delays around the town.'
But the barriers are now open and motorists are able to travel along the road as normal.
They have malfunctioned on several occasions since March, including three times in as many days between April 18 and 20.
Net work Rail has previously said that the failure of the barriers is being caused by fuses burning out on a motor which was drawing too much current.
