An appeal to find volunteers willing to spare a few hours a week to help adult learners has been launched.
Realise Futures Learning and Development is keen to hear from people who could help at its learning centre in Lowestoft.
Deborah Gibson, Realise Futures Careers and Progression Manager, said: 'Our volunteers are a hugely valuable and valued resource, and we would like to build our volunteer team. We are looking for volunteers to help support learners. They will help people to read and scribe and, as more courses these days involve digital literacy, it would be good if they can use a computer.
'As well as people who may be retired, or those looking for work wanting to get involved in a learning environment, we would particularly like to hear from people aged 19+ who are thinking about teaching.
Anyone interested in volunteering can call 0300 456 2050 and leave their details.
