A Suffolk food lover and her famous relative are looking to cook up a treat after she created a recipe book to help a Suffolk hospice.
Anna Merrifield, of Lowestoft, has compiled the Cooking with Friends charity recipe booklet in aid of the St Nicholas' Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.
The 24-year-old trainee business advisor at PKF in Yarmouth used her family links to persuade world famous author Philip Pulman, of The Golden Compass fame and her father's cousin, to send in his favourite recipe of spicy lamb rice.
Cooking with Friends, which cost £5, also features recipes sent in by Anna's work colleagues at PKF branches in Yarmouth, Norwich and Ipswich and can be ordered by e-mailing icelandrecipebook@hotmail.co.uk
