Rental company owner admits fraud

A FORMER rental company owner has admitted cheating the public purse of thousands of pounds.

Ellen George pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the public revenue of more than £350,000 in rental income from Neil Davidson Management Services.

Ellen George pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the public revenue of more than £350,000 in rental income from Neil Davidson Management Services.

The full charges relate to frauds committed between January 2000 and December 2003, Ipswich Crown Court heard, yesterday.

The 42-year-old, of Colville Road, Lowestoft, also admitted a charge of conspiracy with Richard Neil Davidson to failing to declare a further £41,343 in 2004.

George was released from court on bail and told a sentencing date would be arranged.
