Residents invited to Lowestoft meeting with police and crime commissioner

Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner will be visiting Lowestoft next week as part of a series of public meetings across the county.

Mr Passmore will be at the Kirkley Centre in London Road South, from 7pm on Tuesday, October 10.

The meeting is an opportunity for the public to ask questions of the commissioner and the constabulary, and to find out more about policing in the area.

The meeting covers the parishes of Blundeston, Carlton Colville, Corton, Flixton, Gisleham, Kessingland, Lound, Lowestoft, Oulton, Somerleyton, Ashby and Herringfleet.

The meeting will involve a quick overview from Mr Passmore and the local superintendent and then the public will have an opportunity to ask questions. The local inspector, responsible for policing in the area, will add operational context.

There is no need to book a place, just turn up on the night. If you would like to submit a question prior to the meeting to enable a fuller response, email your question to by 10am on Monday, October 9.

Tea and coffee will be served from 6.40pm and the meeting is expected to end by 8.30pm.
