New signs have been unveiled at an open space in a popular village.

Talented Reydon youngster Guy Barber created the prize-winning design for the two signs that now grace Jubilee Green.

The signs, featuring a crown and children playing on the green, were showcased during a special ceremony last Friday, June 1.

Jubilee Green was named for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 but it took five more years before Reydon Parish Council took possession of the space.

With Jubilee Green designed to be an open space for all the village to enjoy, Reydon Community Gardeners have been working hard to make new raised beds with herbs for anyone to use as well as involving the local primary school in planting up recycled tractor tyres.

Reydon Parish Council is inviting the public to come and see the new signage and enjoy the green.
