DESPITE future problems with bridge closures the Highways Agency can now finally be congratulated on achieving correctly labelled road-signs for the South Beach north of the bridge by Christmas.
DESPITE future problems with bridge closures the Highways Agency can now finally be congratulated on achieving correctly labelled road-signs for the South Beach north of the bridge by Christmas.
Not so Suffolk County Council, however, who are responsible for the signs south of the bridge.
Although corrected in London Road South itself some time ago, they still have two more to re-label from Town Centre Beach, at the Horn Hill approach from Belvedere Road, and the turn into Mill Road. They also need to blank out the sign in Horn Hill as you approach Belvedere Road that directs you through to the car park for shopping in Kirkley, through Kirkley Rise if this road cannot be guaranteed to be open.
