A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with robbery following an incident at a Lowestoft shop.
Police were called just after 5.15pm to the shop in Carlton Road yesterday afternoon (Sunday, October 17) following reports that a man with a knife had stolen bottles of alcohol from the store. Officers attended and the 19-year-old was arrested a short time later.
Steven Wilkinson, from London Road South, has now been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article and is due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court this afternoon (Monday, October 18).
