St Edmund's Church in Southwold will be the setting for a performance of one of the most joyous masses ever written – Rossini's Petite messe solennelle.

On Saturday, July 7 this popular work will be conducted by Vetta Wise, as an exciting quartet of talented young soloists will be joined by Pakefield Singers.

Other local singers have been welcomed to perform along with Terry Cunnane, who will be tackling the virtuoso piano part, with Alison Evans at the harmonium.

The Petite messe solennelle has instant appeal, brimming over with beautiful melodies, as it is ideally suited to a summer's evening in Southwold.
