A NUMBER of schools which did open their doors today are closing early to make sure pupils and staff get home safely.With more snow showers forecast for this afternoon, head teachers have taken the decision that once lunch is over, then parents can pick up youngsters.

With more snow showers forecast for this afternoon, head teachers have taken the decision that once lunch is over, then parents can pick up youngsters.
St Edmunds Roman Catholic Primary at Bungay and St Benets Roman Catholic Primary, Beccles, all closed at 1pm.
Whitton Green Primary, Lowestoft, is closing at 2pm.
The North Lowestoft Children's Centres - Ark, Village Rise and Roman Hill - are closing at lunchtime.
