WAVENEY Partnership TV, who run the community TV screens which can be seen in various locations in Lowestoft, like Asda, Morrisson's, and Tesco's cafes, have just organised a Schools Storyboard Competition.
The themes were: be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution, and achieve economic well-being
Three of the storyboards were chosen to turn into films. Children and parents became stars for the day. So a big thank you to them. There will be a presentation evening on July 16 for all those involved and the films will 'go live' at the same time.
We'd also like to give a big up to the Normanston Drive fire station.
Due to a communications mix-up they couldn't come to the filming when we expected but when we went round to see them on the afternoon of the filming and explained what we were doing they couldn't have been more helpful and enthusiastic and we got some excellent footage. So thanks in particular to Peter Gray, Chris Randall, Ben Horne and Dave Ives, all of Green Watch.
We'd also like to thank John Wright, the camera man, who was wonderfully calm and imaginative during what was a sometimes stressful day.
