An initiative encouraging people to discover more about Lowestoft's past will continue with a look at how the town has been affected by war.
Aviation historian Bob Collis will lead participants on a 'War Walk' through the historic Scores on Saturday, January 27, conveying wisdom about German attacks on Lowestoft in the First and Second World Wars.
The series of 'Scores Walks' were started by Lowestoft Town Council with the support of local museums and history groups, in the hope that more people would embrace the cultural heritage that surrounds them.
Starting at the North Denes car park opposite Sparrow's Nest at 9am, the event will reflect on the troubling times that the town suffered during both world wars.
'People who may have thought Lowestoft was unaffected by war will have their eyes opened,' said Mr Collis.
