The Lowestoft Sea Cadets are hosting a recruitment evening for young people aged between 10 and 18.

The group are expanding and recruiting new members at the Army Reserve Building on St Peters Street in Lowestoft.

The event takes place on Monday, February 8 at 7.30pm.

Shane Daly, development worker for Eastern Area Sea Cadets, said: “We are looking for Cadets aged 10 to 18 years of age.

“For many years Lowestoft was a thriving organisation that has helped many members of the community have a great head start in life.

“We are also looking for adult volunteers who are keen to roll their sleeves up and offer such great learning opportunities or simply lend a hand on a monthly basis with fundraising and management support.”
