A popular Lowestoft attraction is celebrating once more.
The East Anglia Transport Museum, in Chapel Road, Carlton Colville, has been awarded TripAdvisor’s certificate of excellence for the third successive year.
The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is only given to establishments that consistently achieve great reviews on TripAdvisor over a period of a year.
Winning the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence for the third year in succession was hailed this week as “a true source of pride” for the entire team of unpaid volunteers at the East Anglia Transport Museum.
Tony Grice, committee member and publicity officer at the museum, said: “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by ones customers. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment by volunteers to maintain this working museum to the standards required. With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based on customer reviews, the accolade is a vote of confidence to our museum and our continued commitment to excellence in the preservation of heritage transport,” he added.
“We would like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor.”
The museum enjoyed a “fantastic” first ever 1940s weekend earlier this year when almost 800 visitors attended the museum over the two days, with just some of those pictured.
