A project celebrating the UK's most easterly town is calling on people to share their stories.

Life of Lowestoft is a documentary project devised by Joshua Freemantle.

And as the director of the documentary he is calling on the Lowestoft community to share their stories to have the chance of potentially featuring in it.

Mr Freemantle said: "Did you or your family use to live or work in the historic fishing village in North Lowestoft or maybe had a business in Kirkley? "Perhaps you were a war baby or have family members who grew up in the wartime?

"Then we would love for you to share your stories and experiences in Lowestoft's history with us, and you will be in with a chance of making an appearance in the documentary."

An event will be held between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, December 4 at The Kirkley Centre where people can share their stories and bring any old photos along with them.
