Shed fire put out by Lowestoft fire crew

FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft spent 30 minutes tackling a shed blaze in the town.

One crew from Normanhurst station were called to extinguish the flames at 2.

FIREFIGHTERS from Lowestoft spent 30 minutes tackling a shed blaze in the town.

One crew from Normanhurst station were called to extinguish the flames at 2.40pm yesterday (Saturday).

A spokesman for the fire service said: “The shed was 100pc involved in fire, and the crew used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put out the flames.”

The scene was cleared by 3.10pm.
