Shoppers have been out in force in Lowestoft town centre today as they try to bag a bargain for Christmas.
The town centre has been busy, but it was not quite the rush that it was last year.
Dan Poitras, manager of the Britten Centre in Lowestoft, said: 'Footfall is not massively up like last year. Shops will be having sales the whole time up until Christmas. Retailers including Game and BHS are taking part.'
The town's department stores Beales and Palmers are taking part in promotions, cutting prices across a number of ranges.
