An eclectic mix of local talent has been confirmed for this year's Jungle Stage at Halesworth Gig in the Park.

Organisers have selected 11 bands to perform a blend of original and cover songs on the Jungle Stage, which showcases talent from the local area.

It will complement punk rock group The Undertones and pop band Showaddywaddy, who have been unveiled as the headline acts for this summer's event.

The festival is now in its 12th year and is being held in Halesworth's Town Park during the weekend of August 6 to 8.

Organisers of the Jungle Stage said the quality of acts that applied this year were outstanding, which made it tough to select 11 bands for each of the days. Jungle is the ever popular second stage at Gig in the Park with its unique vibe and jungle theme.

Friday night features the Fat Factory with live DJ sets from Crackerz and Jam, DJ Rainbow, Brummy and Paul Sparkes.
