THANK you to Journal readers for their generosity and support for the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund carol singing on December 21, which has now become a regular event at Christmas.

THANK you to Journal readers for their generosity and support for the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund carol singing on December 21, which has now become a regular event at Christmas.

Even though our singing is awful the public's support for this event never fails to impress us!

We managed to raise £1,475 for the fund and for the families of four Warwickshire fire fighters who sadly lost their lives in tragic circumstances.

This money will go to assist firefighters and their families in times of need, also towards therapy, rehabilitation, recuperation and to assist with grants for mobility equipment etc.
