Help, advice and support for families affected by behavioural and learning difficulties is at hand as a new project is launched.

A new autism support project will run in Kirkley, entitled Slice of Advice.

The Kirkley Local Conversation project, led by the Kirkley People’s Forum, has funded the new initiative. This project has been created to meet the need in Kirkley and following consultation work by the people’s forum, a group of residents have come together to help make Kirkley an even better place to live.

Sessions will be held every Monday from 10.30am to 1pm at the Kirkley Centre on London Road South.

Slice of Advice is an umbrella of local community support groups designed to create a valued support network for families affected by autism and related spectrum disorders and conditions.
