East Coast Community Healthcare staff at Southwold Hospital held a bake-off to highlight the importance of good nutrition in health care.
Nurses, other staff and relatives brought bakes to work to be judged during Nutrition and Hydration Week, which ran until March 22.
The hospital catering team provided a texture tasting session so people could try different types of mashed, pureed and soft food given to patients with swallowing difficulties.
Healthcare assistant Sam Smith won the bake-off with a ginger cake.
Senior Sister Boxer said: 'We aim to provide the highest quality food here at Southwold Hospital and this event was a fun way of drawing that to people's attention and highlighting that when people have special dietary requirements like pureed food, it still needs to be tasty.'
