Southwold crash victim named by police
THE 64-year-old woman who died following a road traffic collision in Southwold yesterday (Wednesday) has been named as Sandra Roden from Great Yarmouth.
THE 64-year-old woman who died following a road traffic collision in Southwold yesterday (Wednesday) has been named as Sandra Roden from Great Yarmouth.
The collision happened in Godyll Road around 11.30am yesterday when a black Chrysler PT cruiser car struck the woman.
Police are investigating exactly what happened but at this stage it appears the vehicle collided with her as she stood nearby.
She was knocked unconscious and died a short time later at the scene.

A man remains in the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.
Officers are asking anyone who saw the incident to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Police Headquarters on 01473 613500.
