A community roadshow is set to roll into Suffolk, with people being given the chance to put their dementia questions to the experts.

To increase awareness and understanding of the condition - which affects about 12,000 people across the county - the Alzheimer's Society is inviting people to visit a dementia community roadshow in Southwold this week.

To find out more about dementia and support available, the charity's mobile information service will be stopping off at the Southwold Pier car park on North Parade, Southwold on Thursday, September 4 from 10am to 4pm.

Debbie Foster, Alzheimer's Society Area Manager for Norfolk and Suffolk, said: "Our Dementia Community Roadshow can provide people with information about where to get help and encourage those with concerns about their memory to visit their GP."

If you are unable to visit but would like to find out more about dementia, call the dementia helpline on 0300 222 11 22 or visit www.alzheimers.org.uk
